Terms in short
Every * on our menu and brochures points here. This is a short summary; the full wording is in our Terms and Conditions and our Refund & Cancellation Policy on the website.
Prices and GSTPrices live in our online menu or on your quote; the price on your confirmed order does not change.
- Course fees: + GST as applicable.
- Services and products with a price: Incl. GST. Items without a price, and every quote: + GST as applicable.
- Extra charges – for example an express charge, special materials or complex designs – are shown on your quote or at checkout before you pay. Nothing is added afterwards without your agreement.
Bridal and wedding ordersBridal work can be cancelled until pattern making starts; the first hour of consultation is free.
- Bridal consultation: the first hour is free. Longer sessions are charged as quoted, and we tell you before the free hour runs out.
- Before pattern making starts: you can cancel. You get your money back in full if no consultation has been given and no materials bought for you; otherwise less the consultation fee and materials, as shown on your quote.
- Once pattern making starts: the order can no longer be cancelled. We finish the piece and it is yours.
- Moving your dates: free if you tell us at least 30 days before the event.
- Rush work for an early date: the rush charge is on your quote and is not refundable once we have rearranged our work for you.
- Advance: bespoke tailoring, embroidery and bridal orders: 50% advance when you confirm, the balance before you collect.
Fashion schoolPay to enrol, attend 80% and finish your projects to earn a certificate.
- Enrolment: fees are paid before course material opens. Enrolment depends on seats. Student ID cards are issued on full payment.
- Age: 10 and over. Under 18s are enrolled by a parent or guardian, who gives consent.
- Certificates: need 80% attendance, finished projects and a passed assessment. Certificates are digital; a printed copy on request.
- Missed classes can be made up when there is space.
- Changes: we may change content, timings or teachers and will tell you about any big change. If we cancel a course, you get a full refund.
Course fees, refunds and transfersCancel 7 days before the batch starts for a full refund; after that, move to a later batch instead.
- 7 or more days before the batch starts: full refund, or a free move to a later batch.
- Less than 7 days before, or in the first week: a move to a later batch or another course of the same fee (no cash refund).
- After the first week: no refund. You may move once to a later batch, if seats are free.
- We cancel or change your batch: full refund with no deductions, or a move – your choice.
- Online recorded courses: not refundable or exchangeable once bought.
Workshops and webinarsFull refund up to 48 hours before; half between 48 and 24 hours; after that, the recording instead.
Student material kitsUnopened kits come back for a refund if the course has not started; opened kits are yours.
